Time Zone (2003)
Time Zone is a 9 minute performance piece for 2 dancers, a poet, and double wooden bars suspended from long rope. The work uses music, dance, and a poem by Ilona Popper to explore the very nature of loss, including the unanswerable questions of how death fits in with life that we all continue to pose. Choreographer Kevin Wynn has called the piece "a lovely and intricate work that incorporates subtle aerial work with a wonderful and intimate text.”
Tick Tock (2003)
Performed by 4 to 6 dancers, “Tick Tock” is a lighthearted look at the exigencies of time, its dictatorial hold over our lives, and its not-so-secret identity as a mere contrivance. Of approximately 8 minutes duration, the piece uses rope and harness and cell phone in addition to floor work.
Awakenings (2003)
A quartet of dancers uses two low-flying trapezes to invoke the primal earth spirits, offering a glimpse into a playful and magical world. 8 minutes.
Doppleganger (2003)
Do we really have a double somewhere? And would such a being manifest as a shadow self with malevolent or simply reflective intent? This idea is explored in an unusual piece ( 6:40) for a trio of dancers with aerial fabric.
