Truth Marching

This project features an original play set and performed in historic Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. The drama centers around a hypothetical conversation between activist John Brown and abolitionist Frederick Douglass. The themes of terrorism and conscience, pragmatism and passion, are set into motion within one of history’s most tragic and controversial chapters. The set becomes part of the cast of this compelling new work, as the landscape and spirits of the lost raiders seem to join in the telling of this important tale.
